Stéphane Degout & Simon Lepper - Franse meesters

The French baritone Stéphane Degout is a star of the repertoire from his native country, and he demonstrates this in the Small Hall of the Concertgebouw Amsterdam. An instinctive use of color and dynamics characterizes his performances, and Simon Lepper adapts organically to this. The program features music by French legends such as Debussy and Chausson alongside works by lesser-known French composers such as Rita Strohl and Jean Cras.
