Festive and free open-air concert
On Friday, September 13 at 20:15, the Royal Concertgebouw Orchestra will play a festive open-air concert in Amsterdam-Zuidoost led by conductor Andrés Orozco-Estrada. The concert is free of charge. It promises to be a spectacular performance with sounds from all over the world, with a guest appearance by Sor.
After Dam Square, Westerpark and NDSM Wharf, this time, the Concertgebouw Orchestra will settle in Nelson Mandela Park.
Open stage and performance Leerorkest Zuidoost
We organize an open stage for artists from the district the afternoon before the concert. At 19:00, there will be a supporting program in which the young talents of the Leerorkest Zuidoost will perform with former members of Concertgebouworkest Young and several orchestra members. Everything is free, and food trucks serve delicious food and drinks.
