The Joep Grotendorst Quartet won the Princess Christina Jazz Competition 2025. The jury praised their 'unique voice and ensemble playing of exceptional quality'. This quartet combines jazz tradition with contemporary influences. Their own compositions form the basis for musical discovery. Four friends tell a musical story together. The members are Joep Grotendorst on tenor saxophone, Evan van der Feen on piano, Veerle van der Wal on bass, and Frits Steeghs on drums.

brukle & Chamber Ensemble, led by Karlīna Priedēna, presents dreamy soundscapes. Karlīna is a singer, multi-instrumentalist, and composer. Her Latvian background is a major source of inspiration. She collaborates with a chamber ensemble of jazz- and classically trained musicians. The lineup consists of Karlīna Priedēna (vocals, guitar, compositions), Francisco Garrido (guitar), Michael Murray (alto saxophone), Nick van der Woude (clarinet, bass clarinet), Valentina Real Goñi (viola), Esther Coolstra (viola), and Sara Guidoleen (cello).
