Discover the Musical Journey of Lucrecia Dalt

Lucrecia Dalt previously performed on our stage at Dekmantel in 2023. Her album ¡Ay! garnered much praise and topped various year-end lists. After various film music projects, she now returns with her latest album A Danger to Ourselves . This album combines electronic music and poetic lyrics in Spanish and English.

Experience Innovative Sounds

On stage, Lucrecia Dalt brings her songs to life with bassist Cyrus Campbell and her regular percussionist Alex Lázaro. Her background as a civil engineer in Medellín influenced her approach to computer-generated music production. This was a turning point in her life and career. Her trilogy on the label RVNG Intl., concluding with ¡Ay!, has established her name as a sound artist.

Enjoy Unique Performances

A Danger to Ourselves is her most ambitious and personal work. Guest artists such as Juana Molina and David Sylvian contributed. For the concert, Alex Lázaro opens the evening with a solo performance. He combines percussion and architecture in a 'sculptural climbing frame'.
