Open Recorder Days Amsterdam Program
The concert program is exciting and features leading international recorder players. Some of the highlights include concerts by The Royal Wind Music & Maurice Steger.
In addition to the concerts and competitions, there is a market featuring the world's best recorder makers. The festival encourages mutual exchange through workshops, masterclasses, and a participatory concert. At the heart of the festival, the teachers' symposium takes place: a lively platform where leading teachers from across Europe meet, exchange ideas, and discuss the future of recorder education.
Following the first edition in 2012, the festival is once again housed in Felix Meritis and Rode Hoed, with AMERPODIA as the new partner of the Open Recorder Days 2026.
