Neo-soul and R&B from emerging talent
In 2026, the Grachtenfestival is collaborating with Vokall Records, an independent Amsterdam label focusing on music that feels alive: soulful, funky, and groovy. During the Muziekkapellen Estafette, they present three emerging artists, each bringing their own unique sound. The boundaries between genres blur here, and you can feel it.
The artists
Noa Lauryn is a neo-soul artist from Amsterdam. Inspired by D'Angelo, Cleo Sol, and Anderson Paak, she blends soul, R&B, and jazz. Together with her trio , The Incredibles , she delivers an energetic live show featuring a warm voice and philosophical lyrics. Cas Heim is a drummer, singer, and songwriter. He creates soulful pop with a folky undercurrent and received the Young Talent Award for best singer-songwriter.
ZYHH: music as world
ZYHH connects music with storytelling, acting, and creation. She builds worlds around her songs, inspired by her youth and the present. Her name sounds like a sigh: the moment of letting go. Together with Noa Lauryn, guitarist Johnny Biner, and bassist Pat Stewart, she forms an ensemble that takes you into a cohesive musical experience.
