The young baroque orchestra PRJCT Amsterdam, formed around countertenor Maarten Engeltjes, makes another appearance in the Main Hall. This time in the company of a colorful range of soloists: Lenneke Ruiten, Rolando Villazón and Andreas Wolf. Last season, PRJCT Amsterdam presented Tears of a Mother in a sold-out Main Hall, in which Pergolesi's Stabat mater was performed. Now they're back with Mozart!. Whether Mozart wrote arias as part of an opera or as independent concert works, they always surprised with their accurate description of love in all facets. Mozart's vocal duets share that characteristic, to which the dialogue contributes more. All degrees of love are sung about, from wry and helpless to warm, lascivious and coquettish.
