Ella Zirina and Teis Semey come from different musical worlds. Zirina plays with a refined, sincere tone and a deep commitment to her instrument. Semey opts for a raw, unpredictable, and uninhibited sound. Together, they form a duo that merges these extremes. What connects them is an unconditional love for music.

Original work and arrangements for two guitars

The program consists of original compositions and arrangements of existing pieces. The two guitars take center stage and complement each other. The combination of their styles makes the concert unexpected and varied. Both musicians are considered much-discussed names in the Dutch jazz world and have built a strong reputation in a short time with albums and performances.

Unique location in the heart of Amsterdam

The concert takes place in the former council chamber of Sofitel Legend The Grand Amsterdam, a historic city hall on the Oudezijds Voorburgwal. The Amsterdam City Council once met in this hall. The space has a rich history and offers exceptional acoustics and atmosphere for an intimate concert.
