Composer Mathilde Wantenaar has written a monumental new, full-length work. Fascinating figures such as Aristotle, Alexander von Humboldt, Charles Darwin, Marie Curie, and Albert Einstein take us on a journey through time. Central to the work is the insatiable human curiosity about science, with all its tremendous and terrible consequences. For science leads to improvement, but also to destruction. This work can be heard at the Muziekgebouw aan 't IJ.
