Claudia de Breij

After a sold-out cabaret tour and a starring role in the musical "Hadestown," Claudia de Breij is back to another great love of hers: music. Performing songs from her new album "Een Hoop," released in October 2025, she's touring some of the Netherlands' finest concert halls for the first time in her career. And, of course, she'll be performing with her band in the Main Hall of the Concertgebouw.

Claudia de Breij

Together with her band (naturally with strings), Claudia will be playing original work both new and old this evening. Her new album, "Een Hoop," but also everything that inspires her: from Ramses Shaffy to Taylor Swift, from Herman van Veen to Beyoncé, from Paul van Vliet to Chappell Roan. She says: "My current heroines, Chappell, Taylor, and Beyoncé, inspire me just as much as my old heroes Ramses, Herman, and Paul. Translating their lyrics was wonderful. And I can finally play my own new songs, which I've only played on guitar so far, at full volume with the whole band. I'm really looking forward to it. Playing in concert halls for the first time!"
