Bemquerê, Brazilian Popular Music New Generation - Teatro Munganga

Bemquerê consists of singer Lelê Martino and guitarist Diogo Fráguas. The duo founded the project in 2018 after moving to Portugal. Their music aligns with the renewal movement within Brazilian Popular Music (MPB): personal, sensible, and rooted in everyday life. The songs are about connection, encounters, and being on the move.

From singles to a full album

Since 2020, they've released several singles, including "Se Afasta" and "Saudade ," which aired on Portuguese radio stations. In 2022, they released the EP "Heavy Leve ," produced by Tó Brandileone and Alê Siqueira. They are currently in the studio working on their first full-length album, in collaboration with producer Raul Misturada.
