Discover the family embodiment programme
The Family Embodiment Programme is a monthly ritual, organized by artist Sun Chang. The program opens the question: how do you become family and how do you create diverse forms of kinship? It is specifically intended for an intersectional community of queer and BIPOC migrants. It invites participants to explore feelings of (un)belonging. They also practice care relationships and temporary kinship with each other.
Experience group healing and community building
Participants practice radical rest. They consciously step away from the pressure to be productive. And they restore the connection with the wisdom of their body, emotions, thoughts and community. The program invites participants to imagine and cherish a more-than-human family. This creates connections outside the norms of the white-supremacist, colonial, capitalist, patriarchal and heteronormative nuclear family culture.
Participation and expectations
Participants are welcome to participate in a way that feels good. Whether that is actively sharing or just being present with the group. The program offers a safe and supportive environment. Here you can express yourself and connect with others. It is an opportunity to grow, learn and connect with a community that understands and supports you.
