Skating fun for young and old

Starting Friday, December 19th, residents, visitors, and schoolchildren can enjoy skating on the boulevard overlooking the iconic Sloterplas lake. It promises to be a vibrant meeting place for all ages. On Saturday, December 20th, at 1:00 PM, district administrator Sandra Doevendans will open the ice rink. There will be dance and music performances by local talent. Afterward, everyone is welcome to take to the rink for a spin. You can also enjoy a hot chocolate with a view of the Sloterplas lake.

Whether you're a skater or just new to the ice, you're very welcome. Sharpen your skates, put on your mittens, and your ice cap, and come to Osdorpplein.

Entrance and skate rental

The entrance fee is €5 per person and skate rental is €2.50 per person. Amsterdam residents with a city pass receive a discount on both (entrance fee is then €2.50 per person and skate rental €1 per person).
