OKO Cultural Melting Point
OKO's interior is filled with plants, but even better is the cosy garden in the back where you can enjoy your coffee or meal in the shade, surrounded by trees and some very relaxed vibes. Make sure you give their Polish dumplings a try: they're impossibly tasty (and there's a vegan version too).

't Blauwe Theehuis
Some of you might be acquainted with this cute round blue building overlooking a huge terrace in Vondelpark. The Blue Tea House, located in the most famous park in town, gives you an instant holiday feel. It’s a great spot to get coffee or an easy lunch. It doesn't get greener than that in the city centre of Amsterdam.
't Blauwe Theehuis, Vondelpark 5
'Bar Botanique, cafe tropique' is the slogan here. It feels like being in a more elegant version of a jungle: you’re surrounded in greenery, without a mosquito to be seen. It’s the perfect place for when you're after a more refined restaurant meal or just a beer or cocktail in a stylish interior.
Bar Botanique, Eerste van Swindenstraat 581
't Nieuwe Diep
If you find yourself on the east side of town, 't Nieuwe Diep is the way to go. This lovely tasting house for Dutch jenevers and liquors is located in Flevopark, right in front of a lake. They brew their own brand of spirits and provide a lovely refuge in nature. The fruity jenevers are a must for anyone with a sweet tooth.

Back to Black
Back to Black's location at the Van Hallstraat has a good deal of greenery inside. The reason that they deserve a special mention in this list though, is that they are pioneers in eco-conscious initiatives in Amsterdam's third-wave coffee scene. When you order a coffee-to-go and bring your reusable cup along, you'll get 20 cents off the price. And what's more: their coffee is delish.
Back to Black, Weteringstraat 48
