Party tips for Pride Amsterdam 2025

From raves to buzzy street parties, Pride Amsterdam (3 July to 3 August) looks to harness what it means to be free and tolerant in the city of canals.

RAUM invites ...

From 4 July, Club Raum begins its month-long Pride program. Featuring international and local queer artists and collectives, a new theme is introduced each week – from 'crush' to'platonic', 'lovers' to 'obsession' – exploring the dimensions of queer love. Catch parties like Mamba Negra from São Paulo, Gay Haze from Brussels, and Herrensauna from Berlin, all of which look to bring these themes to pulsating life.

In the heart of Vondelpark, celebrate freedom and diversity together in the 'Park of Love'. The Vondelpark Open Air Theatre and the Tropical Stage are the heartbeat of the festivities, featuring speakers, sports, debates, and music. An ideal way to welcome the Pride weeks in Amsterdam.

Janey - Pride Mini Festival

From urban to pop and from hits to house, this is the spot for your whole girl group, if only because there’s something for everyone. Janey put on parties for girls who like girls so come party together and help celebrate women in the spotlight.

Pride in Amsterdam is synonymous with the Canal Parade and for good reason. Whether you're on a boat, dancing along the quay, or celebrating somewhere else in the city, Amsterdam's Pride Parade is like nowhere else. Fleets of boats sail along the canals, each decorated around the theme of 2025: LOVE. Together, they celebrate the past, the present, and the future of the LGBTQ+ community, and what it means to love in a world that doesn't always love you back.

FPQXL: Pits of Pop Pride Edition

A staple of Pride, Amsterdam's oldest pop festival is coming to Paradiso. All the pop songs you used to play in your bedroom play all night here, so sing without care for the high notes, though fair warning to anyone who's dancing next to you.

  • 2 August, 10:00 PM – 5:00 AM | Paradiso | from €19.20 | buy tickets

BOPS

Founded by Dutch-American DJ duo and pop fanatics Evert Groot and Tom Morgan, BOPS (a shorthand name for catchy pop tunes) has quickly become one of Amsterdam’s go-to queer parties. What began as a basement party for friends has since blossomed into a quarterly night at The Other Side, where anyone and everyone is encouraged to embrace their inner diva. Reeling off a roster of high-octane pop and house with a disco twist, BOPS is a welcome tonic for those looking for an alternative to techno. A kaleidoscopic night of queer joy, come for the bops – stay for the crowd.

Celebrate Pride's final night in the street, as it was meant to be. The whole city comes alive, from Dam Square to Marnixstraat, and from the square in front of the Stopera to the Reguliersdwarsstraat. Hospitality venues and DJs combine for a buzzy atmosphere of lovely tunes and ice-cold drinks - the perfect ending to a month where pride of the city and each other comes first.
