And that's not all: what also stands out about the Swedish mezzo-soprano is her genuine sound. She enjoys sharing the stage with the celebrated South African fortepianist Kristian Bezuidenhout, who also has a remarkable eye for detail. For their recital in the Recital Hall, they put together a veritable Schubertiade.

Musical evenings in salons and coffee houses in the early nineteenth century, often featuring Franz Schubert at the keyboard: the Schubertiades. Musicians, composers, and poets gathered to celebrate the fine arts. Anne-Sofie von Otter and Kristian Bezuidenhout also opted for a Schubertiade, featuring only music by the namesake of these gatherings.
