On 3 March, La Sfera Armoniosa conducted by Mike Fentross will perform the well-known Stabat Mater by Pergolesi. A beautiful baroque programme featuring music by the Dutch composer Count Unico Wilhelm van Wassenaer. Will you arrive early? Then you can attend a free short introduction in the Spiegelzaal at 19:40. Not tired of listening yet? On 20 and 21 March, the Takács Quartet will be on stage. This world-famous string quartet is celebrating its 50th anniversary and will perform works by Beethoven, Haydn, and contemporary composer Clarice Assad.

Want to escape the hustle and bustle of the city? In the ARTIS park, you can walk among ancient trees and historic buildings and see animals up close. From giraffes and zebras to monkeys and vibrant birds. Afterwards, visit ARTIS-Micropia, the world's only microbe museum, and discover a world you normally do not see: microorganisms living on your skin, in your food, and in nature. You’ll learn how important they are for health, food, and the environment.


Since opening in 2016, the Moco Museum (Modern Contemporary) has become a popular spot in Amsterdam. You can see works by well-known, major artists such as Banksy, KAWS, Yayoi Kusama, and Andy Warhol. But emerging and new talents also find a platform in the museum. The museum features both a permanent collection and temporary exhibitions that offer a different perspective on the world around you each time.


The Rijksmuseum is one of the most famous museums in the world, and that is no coincidence. In addition to the permanent collection, there is always something new to see. Currently, the Asian Pavilion features masterpieces from Asian art, and the exhibition Metamorphoses showcases art by artists such as Bernini, Titian, and Caravaggio. Additionally, there are regular concerts, lectures, film evenings, and activities for children and young people.


The Nieuwe Kerk presents Mokum, the biography of Jewish Amsterdam. This exhibition is created in collaboration with the Jewish Cultural Quarter and showcases the rich and sometimes challenging history of Jewish life in the city. From the first Jewish refugees in the 16th century to the diverse community of today. There is also attention to the well-known individuals who have contributed to the city in the meantime.


Have you not seen the exhibition Erwin Olaf – Freedom yet? Then this is your chance, because the exhibition is still on view until 6 April. The Stedelijk Museum pays tribute to the Dutch photographic artist with a major overview following his sudden death in 2023. You will see iconic photos, but also videos, sculptures, and personal archival materials. Freedom, identity, and equal rights form the common thread. Additionally, the permanent collection of modern and contemporary art of international significance is always worth a visit.

In this museum at the NDSM wharf in Amsterdam-Noord, you'll be amazed. The huge hall displays and houses more than 180 works by over 170 artists. You can see street art and graffiti from renowned international names, as well as new talent. Large murals, vibrant colours, and raw styles showcase how versatile this art form is. Even if you don't know much about it, this is an impressive place to explore.

Singing together about how lonely you feel, how beautiful is that? Chris Grem, known from the Groot Niet te Vermijden, takes you into the world of the levenslied. From Johnny Jordaan and André Hazes to Tino Martin and Corry Konings. Chris sings, tells stories, and lets you join in. Expect lots of sing-alongs, a touch of humor, and a hall full of recognition and togetherness.
