July 1st is Keti Koti: an important day on which we celebrate and commemorate the abolition of slavery. We conclude this day with the Keti Koti Gala Concert. After 2 sold-out editions, Bryan B., Manoushka Zeegelaar Breeveld, Dwight Dissels, Sabroso and the renowned Jazz Orchestra of the Concertgebouw will now pay tribute to the resilience and cultural wealth of Suriname. Expect kaseko, kawina, spoken word, soul and jazz; brought by artists who know how to connect the present, past and future with respect for tradition. The evening will be presented by Jörgen Raymann.
