Amsterdam Book Club

Amsterdam Book Club brings together readers from a variety of backgrounds for regular, open discussions of selected books in a relaxed and inclusive setting. We meet in cafés and cultural spaces around Amsterdam for regular book discussions, while also organising occasional author events, cinema outings and relaxed social meetups.

These give members different ways to connect beyond the page and make the club about more than just our monthly reads. Our discussions focus on thoughtful conversation, from themes and character development to narrative structure, personal reflections and the different ways a book connects with each reader. Whether you’re a lifelong reader or simply looking to read more and meet new people, you’re welcome to take part and add your voice to the discussion.
