Museum JAN

Museum JAN is a museum of visual arts and design with a special focus on glass art. The museum’s own collection consists of unique glass objects assembled by founder Jan van der Togt. He collected international top art, based on what fascinated him aesthetically. In addition to this characterful collection, Museum JAN offers a wide and appealing exhibition program.

Geitenboerderij Ridammerhoeve (Goat farm)

Goat Farm Ridammerhoeve is situated right in the heart of the Amsterdamse Bos. On this organic farm there are goats, chickens, cows, pigs, a horse and a pony. 
In the cellar they make cheese, yoghurt, buttermilk, butter, fresh cheese and even ice cream from goatmilk.

The Amsterdamse Bos (Amsterdam Forest)

Located on the edge of the city, the Amsterdamse Bos (Amsterdam Forest) is Amsterdam’s largest park and recreational area. The lush forests and grassy meadows offer plenty of space for a relaxing picnic with family or friends, and the park is crossed by many kilometres of well-marked walking and cycling paths.

We warmly welcome you to Stadshart Amstelveen, a covered shopping centre just a stone’s throw from Amsterdam. You can shop in style at this great shopping centre featuring more than 200 luxury shops. Would you like to conclude your day of leisurely shopping with a delicious meal or cultural activity? In addition to the variety of shops, Stadshart Amstelveen also offers art, culture, bars and restaurants. The shops are open Monday through Saturday, plus the first Sunday of every month. The shops stay open until 9:00 pm on Thursdays. The shopping centre is easy to reach by both public transport

Rembrandthoeve

The Rembrandt Hoeve is a traditional farm specialized in making cheese and clogs. Located just outside Amsterdam in the middle of the Dutch polder, this farm dates back to the 15th century. With windmills and farms dotting the landscape, it’s hard to believe that the farm is only a 10-minute drive from the centre of Amsterdam. The Rembrandt Hoeve is open to visitors seven days a week.

Amsteltuin Vineyard

The unique Wijngaard de Amsteltuin is located in a quiet and green spot in Amstelveen, a stone's throw from Amsterdam. 3,500 grape plants grow on 1.5 hectares and produce interesting wines. Here you will find peace, space and a relaxed atmosphere. Whether you come for a meeting, party, tasting or daytime activities, you will quickly feel at home in the Amsteltuin.
