About ARTIS-Park:
Visit ARTIS Zoo, where something special happened this winter: two elephant calves were born. Take part in the Elephant Expedition, follow the foot trails, learn fascinating facts about elephants, and crack the elephant code. During the spring holiday, children can even craft their own elephant enclosure. Join an after-hour walk through the park and experience the remarkable calm that settles over the zoo while discovering which animals become active at night.
Travel to Madagascar at the renewed Kerbertterras (formerly the lion’s enclosure) and admire how ring-tailed lemurs, red ruffed lemurs, and turtles live together here. Then continue to the new enclosure of the Asian small-clawed otters, located next to the red panda habitat.
Visit the Planetarium for a journey through space (included with admission). Discover stars, planets, and marvel at our place in the universe.
Stroll through the historic city park, admire the monumental buildings and explore the botanical garden, and take a relaxing break at one of the vegetarian restaurants.
Check the daily schedule for zookeeper presentations, where you can learn more about jaguars, Asian elephants, and many other animals. Whether you want to discover, learn, or care for nature, you can do it all at ARTIS.
ARTIS-Micropia and ARTIS-Groote Museum
You can also visit the other unique ARTIS locations: ARTIS-Micropia, World's only microbe museum. And discover how all life is interconnected at ARTIS-Groote Museum.
