Settle into life in the Amsterdam Area with IN Amsterdam

Many of the procedures carried out by IN Amsterdam are at the request of employers or immigration professionals. For example, if you are moving to the region from abroad using the highly skilled migrant procedure, your employer will typically make contact with us to begin the process. But we do much more than issue permits and documents. For example, we may be able to assist you with municipal registration or the 30% ruling, we can offer advice about a variety of topics (including permits such as the Orientation Year permit or Startup permit), as well as general information on employee rights and benefits.

We can also ease you into life in the Amsterdam Area by explaining many of the things you need to take care of upon arrival (download the 'My First Month' booklet and take a look around the Living portal). IN Amsterdam hosts events too, including regular seminars led by experts, covering topics such as employment, taxes and education.
