New relocation app for international talent
IN Amsterdam and the Dutch Expat Centers proudly present the Welcome to NL Relocation App, designed to help internationals in the Netherlands with the practicalities involved with relocating to another country.
Welcoming new arrivals
There are plenty of things to consider when moving to another country, from navigating the housing market to taking care of official matters such as permits and healthcare. The Welcome to NL app supports new arrivals to the Netherlands before, during and after their move, compiling all they need to know in one place.
Tailor-made support
The app can be tailored to users’ personal circumstances, for example, whether they are moving to the Netherlands to study or to work, which region in the country they are moving to, their family situation, their country of origin and much more. It will then provide the relevant information and advice about residence permits, registration with the municipality, healthcare arrangements and housing.
The Welcome to NL platform
Launched in December last year, Welcome to NL is an online platform that aims to connect highly skilled talent with career opportunities in the Netherlands. Created specifically for talent abroad – and for Netherlands-based employers that want to attract international employees –, it paints a vivid picture of living and working in the Netherlands. The platform includes information on the Netherlands’ business culture and its innovative industries, and also brings across an idea of what it’s like to live in the country as an international resident, helping people make an informed decision about relocating to the Netherlands. In addition, it provides practical information that can now be easily accessed via the new app.
