Are you ready to strengthen your Dutch and get closer to a career in healthcare? IN Amsterdam, Werkcentrum Groot-Amsterdam and healthcare umbrella organisation Sigra launch the third edition of their course for international healthcare professionals living in the Amsterdam Area.

In what started as an ambitious pilot in 2024, past participants have described the programme as a “transformative experience”.

Breaking down barriers to employment for international healthcare talent

The cost-free eight-month programme combines Dutch language lessons with practical sessions to introduce you to the local healthcare sector. It’s designed for international healthcare professionals (including those who are accompanying partners) eager to build their careers and feel more confident communicating in Dutch.

Focus of the upcoming edition is on internationals with the following backgrounds:

  • Pharmacists (interested in working as an assistant)
