
Meet the participants of Building Better Business 2025
Building Better Business, a collaboration between Amsterdam Impact, B Lab Benelux, and Economy for the Common Good (ECG), helps companies increase their social and environmental impact without losing their commercial strength.
The program consists of two tracks: B Corp and ECG. Each track offers a structured approach to support companies in achieving their goals and laying the foundation for B Corp or ECG certification.
Meet the entrepreneurs participating in each track:
B Corp track
Ateljé, founded by Yara Michels, creates stylish tech accessories: wearable and sustainable designs that are popular among influencers worldwide. Their iconic pearl cords even appeared in the Netflix hit Emily in Paris.
Beurs van Berlage is an iconic venue in the heart of Amsterdam where history and innovation come together. It offers a sustainable stage for conferences, cultural events, and business meetings.
Capital C Amsterdam is a vibrant creative centre located in the former Diamond Exchange. From events and art to workspaces and culinary hotspots – everything comes together under one roof.
CHOICE insights + strategy helps brands and governments grow through qualitative and quantitative research. For over 30 years, this creative research agency has been translating consumer behavior into actionable insights and strategies.
ÉTICOS combines natural ingredients with scientific expertise to create high-quality body care products. The brand stands for purity, performance, and ethical choices.

Rum Baba Coffeeroasters is an artisanal coffee roastery that sources special coffee beans directly from farmers. They supply both consumers and businesses, locally and internationally.
The Good Wine offers 100% organic and vegan wine with a mission: for every bottle sold, The Good Wine provides 750 liters of clean drinking water in Africa. Drinking wine with impact – through Made Blue and their own foundation.

ECG track
3PM supports employers and governments in making mobility more sustainable. Think of policies that promote cycling, public transport use, and car sharing. This contributes to lower CO₂ emissions and more vitality in the workplace.
Biz & Ondernemersvereniging De 9 Straatjes represents the iconic shopping streets in the heart of Amsterdam. The association works to strengthen this unique shopping area full of local and creative entrepreneurs.
BrightPensioen aims to make the financial world fairer and more transparent. They are committed to a sustainable pension system where the customer’s interests come first.
Goede Doelen Nederland is the trade association for over 275 national charities. They work in health, culture, animal welfare, and international aid. Together, they manage more than two-thirds of all social cause funding in the Netherlands.
