Event venue

The Oosterkerk is one of Amsterdam’s many repurposed buildings: having ceased to have a clerical function in the ’60s, the building underwent extensive renovations in the ’80 and is now an event venue used for concerts, exhibitions and community events.

The Oosterkerk hosts regular concerts each month: Students of the Conservatory of Amsterdam perform every first Tuesday (evening) and third Friday (noon) of the month and there is a matinee each third Sunday of the month at noon.

The Oosterkerk is wheelchair accessible.
