IamExpat Fair 2026: support and services for settling in
Make sense of everyday questions and official matters
Starting over in a new country may not come with a user guide, but the IamExpat Fair gathers everything you want to know about living in the Netherlands under one roof. Each year, local businesses and organisations focus on the services people need most, from finding a house, a job or a school to choosing an accountant, a legal advisor or a language course.
Designed to be helpful whether you’re newly arrived or already settled in, dozens of exhibitor stands are staffed by experts who offer advice and provide services for navigating life in the Amsterdam Area. Industry professionals also lead more than 30 workshops and presentations, which are free for all ticketholders.
Please note that workshops require separate registration and places are limited, so early booking is recommended.

A meaningful meeting point for internationals
Since its launch in 2015, the IamExpat Fair has connected more than 700 companies with over 41,600 visitors from 160 countries, alongside running hundreds of workshops and information sessions. Over the years, it has become a meeting point for internationals seeking reliable resources and meaningful connections in the Netherlands.
This Amsterdam edition takes place for the second time at Beurs van Berlage. Originally built as a commodity exchange, the building provides a distinctively enterprising setting for the IamExpat Fair. The venue is located near Centraal Station and Dam Square and easy to reach by public transport or bicycle, with an underground bike parking facility nearby.

Register for a ticket
To attend the IamExpat Fair, you need to register for a ticket. A limited number of free tickets is available now. After 30 January, tickets cost €5 online or €10 at the door.
