Club culture
Having grown up within club culture, Audio Obscura went on a mission to push the art form into new spaces and contexts, to help it to continue to evolve and reach new audiences. They see value in putting raves into spaces that were traditionally off-limits to club promoters, as a revolutionary act in the battle to create for electronic music the respect, protection, and support that it deserves.
The venues represent only one side of the story, however. Audio Obscura's commitment to putting the DJ at the centre stage of the event has helped to blur the lines between concert, rave, club and performance. Now, as we expand our horizons across the world, they are excited about the prospect of entering new spaces and supporting new talents across the world, as well as creating dialogues between leading artists from across the world and their global audiences.
