London Calling Festival
London Calling Festival is the leading showcase festival for new alternative and indie artists in the Netherlands. Since 1992, it has been the place to discover emerging bands early at Paradiso. Big names like Arctic Monkeys and The Killers played here in their early days. With a sharp line-up and intimate atmosphere, it’s the go-to event for spotting the next big acts in indie.

London Calling Festival
The two-day festival London Calling showcases promising bands and artists at Paradiso twice a year. What started in 1992 as a launchpad to mainland Europe for British bands (Blur, Slowdive, Placebo) has grown over more than 30 years into a showcase festival for artists from all over the world. Over the years, acts like Blur, Slowdive, Fontaines D.C., The Murder Capital, Tame Impala, Japanese Breakfast, and more recently Wet Leg, The Last Dinner Party, STONE, and Heartworms have played Paradiso before outgrowing the venue. Thanks to its sharp programming, it has earned a reputation as a ‘discovery festival’—spot the next big act here before they become too big for such an intimate setting.
