Amsterdam Port Hackathon for students

This year, Werken in de Haven, Green Tech Campus MRA, Port of Amsterdam and educational partners are organizing a Hackathon for students from secondary vocational education, higher professional education and university. The Hackathon starts with a Masterclass Energy Transition at school. In this class, students learn about big questions: How do we work towards a more sustainable world? And what does the energy transition mean for the port?

The program

On 13 June, the students will gather at the Passenger Terminal Amsterdam. In the morning, they will visit various companies in the port. There, they will get a look behind the scenes. In the afternoon, they will work on a current issue in mixed groups. For example, about hydrogen, green logistics or artificial intelligence in the port. The teams will present their ideas to a jury at the end of the day. The winner will be announced during a small closing drink. The winning group will be allowed to present their result during the Hydrogen Congress H2A of Port of Amsterdam and the University of Amsterdam.
