Hackathon: How do you build a caring neighbourhood?

For students and residents

During this hackathon, students and Amsterdam residents work together on smart ideas for a caring neighbourhood. In one day, you will develop solutions that ensure more contact, support, and connection in the neighbourhood. For students, this is an opportunity to apply what they learn at school in practice. For residents, it is a way to contribute to a better neighbourhood themselves.

Thinking together

You work in groups on questions such as: how do we ensure the elderly can live independently for longer? What can we do together to care for each other? By thinking, talking and designing together, surprising solutions emerge that can really mean something to the neighbourhood.
