As of Friday May 23, NEMO Science Museum's rooftop square will be open again. A completely renewed city square in the heart of Amsterdam with lots of greenery. Enjoy a snack, a drink and a fantastic view of the city. On the roof, nature and technology meet. Discover how green spaces make for a healthy city. Study the clouds, measure the air quality, spot the different city birds and discover how smart ideas can help achieve a sustainable future. The roof is designed so that plants and animals find a place here, in the middle of the city.
Opening hours
The rooftop square will be open daily from 10 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. starting May 23. On Thursdays and Fridays in July and August, the rooftop square will be open until 9 p.m. Access to the roof is free via the stairs on the east side.
