Rare varieties
Speelboerderij Elsenhove is an old farm. In the past, mainly cows were kept here. Today the farm has many different rare Dutch breeds. In commercial farming, these breeds have almost disappeared because they don't lay enough eggs, don't give enough milk, or don't grow fast enough. Elsenhove ensures that these varieties are still preserved.

The play farm is also a great base for cycling and walking through the Elsenhove recreation area, the Middelpolder, Amstelland Green Area and the Green Heart.
