The Richel is an intimate theater for cabaret, cabaret, theater & music in the heart of Amsterdam. It is located in a beautiful, monumental building on the Nieuwezijds Voorburgwal, close to the Palace on De Dam on one side and Het Spui on the other.
Various productions
Since July 2024, the Betty Asfalt Complex continues under the name Theatre De Richel, collectively run and programmed by Nicoline, Timo, Rosa, Elisabeth, Patrick and Kyrian; six young actors, who together create performances under the name De Theatertroep. Within De Richel, therefore, De Theatertroep is a purveyor of topical, satirical productions in its infamous vaudeville style.
