B. Startup School Amsterdam

This intensive three-month traineeship in data analytics, machine learning and web development equips recent graduates with the skills required by the tech industry. Partnering companies partially fund your tuition and there’s also a free summer school for people who are unemployed.

BIT Academy 

BIT Academy offers a two-and-a-half-year, peer-to-peer ICT education programme for MBO students, resulting in the level 4 diploma. As a collaboration with ROCs, it charges students regular tuition fees. The course makes the transition to HBO easier, providing students with a greater chance of finding a job in IT. Dutch is required.

Codaisseur

Codaisseur is a ten-week coding academy that offers participants a fast route to becoming a junior developer. The academy is on a mission to bridge the gap between companies and developers while contributing to the startup ecosystem and courses are taught by a volunteer network.

Codam

Codam is a fully funded three- and a half-year coding programme that uses a peer-to-peer learning system instead of a traditional teacher model. No prior experience is needed, but only people between the ages of 18 and 30 can enrol. It's open 24-7 and the gamified curriculum is based on experience points and levels.

 

 

Code to Change

Code to Change is a five-month, partially funded coding bootcamp that aims to inspire and teach women essential skills to succeed in the IT job market. It includes back-end development, data science, digital marketing and a mentorship programme.

Code Institute

As the world's first credit rated coding bootcamp, Code Institute is dedicated to producing career-ready developers through mentor-led online and classroom programmes. Graduates receive a globally recognised diploma in software development, and it provides the perfect fusion of academia and industry.

 

 

Computrain

The largest IT trainer in the Netherlands, teaching employees office & adobe, business IT and management, and development courses in various formats, including bootcamps, workplace training and online support.

 

 

DataChangers

DataChangers offers accessible courses with a pragmatic approach and believes everyone, at any level, can make a change in this new world of data. Online courses are free (including all exercises and labs) and there are in-class learning options as well. Students may receive a €350 monthly stipend and there are also workshops and masterclasses.

Hack Your Future

This innovative seven-month programme offers training to refugees with no coding experience, giving them the opportunity to grow into fully-fledged software engineers. The curriculum is created and taught by a volunteer network of more than forty professional developers.

Ironhack

Iron Hack offers 9 and 24-week web development and UX/UI design bootcamps at 9 campuses worldwide. Graduates of the web development programme will learn technologies such as HTML5 and CSS3, while the UX/UI course covers topics like design thinking, interaction architecture and design systems, and uses Sketch and InVision. There is a 10% discount available for women.

Le Wagon

Le Wagon is a nine-week coding bootcamp that teaches students to develop web applications from scratch. A cutting-edge curriculum and world-class teachers give participants all the skills and tools needed to kick-start a tech career, land a software developer or product manager job, or even launch their own startup.

Make IT Work

Make IT Work is an 11-month programme that retrains highly educated people for careers in the IT sector and is run by the University of Applied Science. It offers cybersecurity, software engineering, business and data analytics programmes, starting with five-month courses and six-month job placements.

A three-month, full-time data science academy, Techionista Academy empowers women in technology. It teaches students how to analyse and visualize data with PowerBI and work with Python and T-SQL. Upon passing the final exam, students receive the Microsoft Professional Program for Data Science Certificate.

Ubiqum

Ubiqum offers full time web development and data analytics courses lasting three to five months. There are no formal lectures, graded exams, or teachers. Instead it provides mentors and promotes a “learn by doing” approach which means that you’ll learn to program simply by writing code from day one. There is a 35% discount for women.

 

YoungCapital Next

YoungCapital Next offers a fully funded four-year software development programme and a one-and-a-half-year IT traineeship with a job placement and salary. After four years, students have a recognised HBO diploma, plus four years of relevant work experience. Dutch is required and MBO students may apply. The programme is in Hoofddorp.

Young Mavericks

Young Mavericks offers eight-week, fully funded data science, UX design and data engineering traineeships with job placement at a partnering company. The curriculum is tailored to meet labour market needs.
