2025: A Year of Connection, Innovation, and Impact

This year, we once again teamed up with Amsterdam's startup and innovation ecosystem to build something special. From empowering female founders to joining forces with ecosystem partners across Europe, from connecting deep tech innovators with global stages to creating spaces where entrepreneurs, investors, and visionaries could collaborate — we did it together.

Here's how we worked alongside Amsterdam's most ambitious builders, dreamers, and changemakers in 2025:

January

  • We announced that we are teaming up with FEM-START once again in 2025 to empower women entrepreneurs. FEM-START provides female entrepreneurs with the knowledge, skills, and connections to grow their businesses and secure funding.

February

  • We powered the Amsterdam Talent Mission as part of the Dutch delegation to the European Career Fair at MIT (27 Feb – 3 Mar), which connects European employers with STEM talent from MIT, Harvard University, and top-tier universities.

March

  • We joined forces with Amsterdam Trade & Invest to bring 10 of Amsterdam's most inspiring deep tech startups to the Hello Tomorrow summit in Paris, a leading event for deep tech startups, investors, industry experts, and researchers.

April

  • We were a key partner of AI020, where startups, corporates, investors, and enthusiasts converge to exchange insights, challenge assumptions, and co-create the next wave of innovation.
  • As a proud partner at PlantFWD, Europe's most forward-thinking conference on the future of food, we hosted the Amsterdam Pavilion showcasing 6 innovative and impactful homegrown food startups.
  • We helped unite over 100 Dutch changemakers in what ChangeNOW, the world's largest event for impact solutions, described as their biggest country delegation ever.

June

  • We teamed up with Innofest to strengthen sustainable and social innovation in the Amsterdam Metropolitan Area by helping 5 startups showcase and live test their innovation at Op de Ring festival.
  • We worked with AMS Institute, Innofest, Amsterdam InChange, and Marineterrein on first-ever edition of Amsterdam Innovation Day, which brought together a dynamic mix of 300+ innovators, thinkers, and doers for a full day of collaboration and creativity.
  • At the TNW Conference — Europe's leading tech festival — we once again hosted the Amsterdam Pavilion, showcasing 12 pioneering startups driving change across quantum security, clean tech, women's health, sustainable fashion, and more.

September

  • We supported the We Make Trouble Weekend Hackathon, which unites 10 visionary female founders and 40 cross-functional experts to prototype startups in tech-for-good, AI, health, and more.

October

  • We selected 8 impact-first, Amsterdam-based startups keen to expand into the German market to join us and The Hague in a delegation to Bits & Pretzels in Munich, Europe's premier founders' festival.
  • We were a key partner of World Summit AI, the world's largest dedicated summit in AI and emerging technology, where we also hosted a two-day pavilion showcasing the best our city has to offer in AI innovation.

November

  • We supported Life Sciences Health Capital Match, a dynamic matchmaking event connecting 30 investors with innovative startups and scaleups in life sciences and health.
  • We selected 15 innovative, impact-driven startups to represent Amsterdam at leading startup event Slush, which we joined as part of a 200+ strong Dutch delegation of founders, investors, and ecosystem builders in Helsinki.
  • We powered the Amsterdam Circular Changemaker Award, won by VNYX, as part of the inaugural Fashion Pioneer Awards initiated by Mumster.

December

  • We supported the Amsterdam Co-Founder Match Event organised by Startup Village Amsterdam, AMS Institute, Venture Centre HvA, Demonstrator Lab Amsterdam, and VU StartHub.
  • We teamed up with Mollie and Golden Egg Check for an Investor Matchmaking event that also included StartupRoulette 1:1 investor-founder meetings.
