Find this restaurant with a sunny terrace in a green oasis in the middle of the Bijlmerflats neighbourhood. The interior features recycled materials and furniture, and some ingredients come from Elixer's garden. The largest share of the restaurant's profits goes to running the restaurant more sustainably and facilitating social and cultural neighbourhood initiatives. So, in addition to lunch, dinner and drinks, visit for cooking sessions and a barter market or help out in the garden.

Christian community Het Kleiklooster settled in Kleiburg in 2015. According to centuries-old monastic tradition, the community also founded a brewery. You can taste the beer brewed at Kleiburg in De Proefzaak, located right next to the brewery in the beautifully decorated green shed. With your beer, you can eat tasty veal or vegetarian burgers, plenty of vegetarian and non-vegetarian snacks, and sumptuous desserts. Enjoy your food and drinks inside or in the herbs and spices garden, or go behind the scenes by booking a brewery tour. Part of the brewery's profit goes to the monastery's social activities.
