Good tools make for half the work and that counts for cooking too. At Deksels! in the Haarlemmerdijk the best pans, scales, knives, mortars and also a selection of cookbooks can be found. This small boutique is packed with desirable items for cooks: pans from Belgium’s Demeyere for example- pricey, yes, but absolutely terrific. The same goes for Global's knives, Milton Brook's mortars, Peugeot’s pepper mills and Le Creuset’s casseroles. To complete the picture, for each item there is a less expensive version.
