Take a closer look at nature

At the picking garden Vers aan de Vecht and farm De Groene Griffioen, everything revolves around healthy and honest food. They do not use artificial fertilizers or pesticides, and mainly supply the local market. But what does that mean for nature in and around the farmyard? We are going to investigate that together! During the ToekomstTiendaagse, De Groene Stelling and Waarneming.nl are organizing a BioBlitz here: a count of as many plant and animal species as possible in a short time.

Everyone can participate. You look around you, enter your observations with the free app ObsIdentify, and learn more about the nature of this special place. The more people participate, the more we learn about the biodiversity of these kinds of sustainable farms.

The farm is open during shopping hours, and children are welcome to join in the counting.
