Locking & Waacking Forever Battles 2024

Locking & Waacking Forever is a dance competition in Paradiso where the top 24 best dancers in the world compete against each other in these two dance styles. 'Locking is a funk dance style in which the dancers freeze or freeze their movements, as it were. Waacking is a dance style that originated in gay clubs in California in the 1970s, and is characterized by rapid arm movements, theatrical poses and footwork.

Summer Dance Forever

Summer Dance Forever is one of the most important international hip-hop dance festivals. Every year in August, dancers and audiences from all over the world come together in Amsterdam to enjoy virtuoso dance performances, explosive battles, soulful club nights, workshops by top dancers and much more. In addition, Summer Dance Forever organizes the more intimate Weekender edition every year in February, with a focus on House Dance. This year, Summer Dance Forever will take place from August 20 to 26 in Paradiso, ITA and DeLaMar, among others.
