Vox Animae Soloists - Mozart's Flute Quartets
Mozart's Flute Quartets
Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart composed his delightful flute quartets for a Dutch surgeon. It is music of great beauty, with tender melodies and cheerful joy. Mozart makes it seem as if it is uncomplicated music, simple even. In this, the hand of the true master is proven. For nothing is more difficult than composing perfect lightness.
Vox Animae Soloists
Vox Animae Soloists, an ensemble of international allure, also has a Dutch touch. In addition to the Hungarian star violinist Barnabás Kelemen, his compatriot violist Mté Szücs and the French cellist Iseut Chuat, it is the Dutch flute great Jacques Zoon who steals the show. Jacques Zoon was the principal flute of the Concertgebouw Orchestra, the Chamber Orchestra of Europe, the Lucerne Festival Orchestra and the Boston Symphony Orchestra. As a soloist and chamber musician, he has been praised worldwide. That promises something: Mozart's chamber music at the highest level.
