Ringdown Caroline Shaw + Danni Lee
As a classically trained composer, Caroline Shaw has already won a Pulitzer Prize and a Grammy. She is also making waves in the pop world through her collaborations with top artists such as Beyoncé. With singer-songwriter Danni Lee, she forms the electronic pop duo Ringdown. Here, too, it is all about challenging harmonies, but now embedded in cinematic, partly electronic orchestrations. Music in which Caroline and Danni follow their hearts and ignore all conventions.

Catchy pop songs
Ringdown is unmistakably contemporary with its catchy pop songs. But the duo also sounds nostalgic, partly due to the country sob in Danni Lee's voice. And there is always a stimulating undertone. So, this 'love child of Johannes Brahms and Brandi Carlisle - if they were born in the same century and Brahms was a queer woman - cannot be pigeonholed.'
Please note: Only standing room is available for this concert.
