Supporting labour mobility in the EU
EURES is a cooperation network designed to facilitate the free movement of workers within the EU-27 countries plus Switzerland, Iceland, Liechtenstein and Norway. The EURES network provides its services through its European Job Mobility Portal and through a network of around 1,000 EURES advisers that are in daily contact with jobseekers and employers across Europe. They support employers and jobseekers that wish to recruit or work in another European country under fair conditions, offering recruitment and placement services and providing information and advice in support of labour mobility. CVs and vacancies are published on the portal so that jobseekers can be matched up with available positions.
