Amsterdam Convention Bureau partners with Eurostar to boost sustainable conference travel
Expanding sustainable travel links

For international meetings and events, how delegates arrive matters. The Amsterdam Convention Bureau (ACB) has recently partnered with Eurostar to expand sustainable travel options, offering faster and more frequent rail connections from London, Paris, and Brussels. This partnership provides conference organisers and delegates with more accessible and environmentally conscious travel options between Amsterdam and key European hubs.
Direct rail from Amsterdam to London, Paris and Brussels
The partnership coincides with the opening of a new cross-channel terminal at Amsterdam Central Station, streamlining travel to and from the U.K. Delegates can now take advantage of:
- Up to four daily direct trains to London (approx. 3h50min), with a fifth connection planned from December 2025.
- Up to 11 daily direct trains to Paris (approx. 3h10min).
- Up to 15 daily direct trains to Brussels (approx. 1h50min).
Conference fare discounts for international delegates

Eurostar’s rail network offers a lower-carbon alternative to air travel, aligning with ACB’s focus on reducing the environmental footprint of international events.
For organisers, the partnership also brings tangible benefits: delegates can access discounted conference fares, with savings of up to 15% in Eurostar Plus and 10% in Standard, valid for travel up to seven days before or after their event. Flexible booking conditions make the offer even more attractive for international attendees.
Easy conference connectivity
Amsterdam’s excellent connectivity, both internationally and locally, makes it a seamless destination for meetings and events. With strong rail, air, and public transport networks, delegates can easily access the city and navigate it efficiently.
