Amsterdam Impact Makers Network

The Amsterdam Impact Makers Network brings together researchers, innovators, clinicians, entrepreneurs, policymakers and other experts working on issues that matter to Amsterdam and beyond. Through the Amsterdam Convention Bureau, we help connect this network with international conferences, creating opportunities to share knowledge, build collaborations and turn ideas into action.
What is the Amsterdam Impact Makers Network?
Amsterdam is home to a wide range of experts, organisations and businesses working on health, technology, sustainability, mobility and other areas shaping the future. The Impact Makers Network connects these local knowledge ecosystems with Amsterdam’s international conference community.
The aim is simple: bring the right people together around the right conferences, create new connections and use international meetings as a catalyst for knowledge exchange and local impact.

The network connects conference organisers with relevant researchers, organisations, knowledge institutions, businesses and initiatives across Amsterdam.
Strategic advisory
Impact Makers bring their expertise to the table, helping identify international conferences that connect with Amsterdam’s knowledge ecosystems and priorities.
Attracting conferences
Impact Makers can help bring relevant international conferences to Amsterdam by sharing their expertise, networks and connections. This can include contributing to a conference bid or joining a presentation to decision-makers.
Developing impact programmes
Impact Makers work with the Amsterdam Convention Bureau to connect conference knowledge and expertise with local organisations and communities, creating opportunities for an event to have an impact beyond the conference itself.
