Pitch your business to investors at the Pitch Elevator at WTC Amsterdam
Start-ups and scale-ups, ready with your elevator pitch? World Trade Center Amsterdam, Golden Egg Check and StartupAmsterdam are joining forces for the Pitch Elevator: a unique matchmaking event connecting growing businesses with investors. On Thursday 1 October, participants will pitch their business ideas to investors including No Such, Lumo Labs and Volve Capital across four rounds. Digital start-ups and scale-ups in the Netherlands that are actively raising capital can apply until 22 September.
Golden Egg Check is bringing its StartupRoulette matchmaking format to the event. Entrepreneurs raising a (pre-)seed round will be matched in advance with investors that fit their sector and stage of growth. On the day, four 15-minute speed dates will ensure that every conversation is directly relevant. One of the speed-date tables is the Pitch Elevator, where businesses have 60 seconds to deliver their pitch. Matches are made based on the focus and scope of the participating investors. Anyone applying after 22 September will automatically be placed on the waiting list.
A strategic workplace
The activation comes ahead of the opening of WTC Amsterdam's new coworking space in 2027, aimed at entrepreneurs and growing businesses in Finance, Impact and Tech. Femke Weller, General Manager at WTC Amsterdam, explains why the activation is a natural fit:
“For start-ups and scale-ups, an office is increasingly less about space and more about creating an environment where you can grow. The Pitch Elevator shows how a workplace can also offer strategic value. Waiting in the coffee queue with a venture capitalist, or sharing a lift with the investor who will be investing in your company tomorrow.”
The value a working environment can offer growing businesses is already evident among tenants such as Project Enki:
“What this campaign represents is something we recognise from our own experience. From day one, WTC Amsterdam has treated us as more than just a tenant. The connections we have made here with investors, partners and other entrepreneurs have helped us continue to grow. The environment works for you,” says Paul Kunneman, Managing Director at Project Enki.

The event is open to all digital startups in the Netherlands and the investors who finance them. Registration is open until and including September 22, 2026, via: https://www.wtcamsterdam.com/pitch-elevator/
