Stepping into the last phase of your PhD comes with big decisions, and this event is here to guide you through them. You’ll explore what career paths can look like after graduation, hear honest perspectives from industry and academia, and take part in workshops designed to help you shine in interviews and choose a direction that fits your goals. Throughout the afternoon, you’ll meet other late-stage PhDs on a similar journey, with a relaxed borrel at the end to keep the conversations going.

In this session, you will learn how peer review works from the perspective of reviewers and editors, helping you write stronger reviews and handle feedback on your own papers more effectively.

16:00 – 17:00 From Researcher to Candidate: Interview Skills that Work – Ewout van de Bult (Brightminds)
This session teaches how to present yourself effectively to potential employers, including tips for optimizing your CV, promoting your profile on LinkedIn, and performing confidently in interviews.
