About the event

The visit of more than a hundred international astronauts to the Netherlands in October 2024 during the XXXV Planetary Congress of the Association of Space Explorers (ASE) marks a historic event in our country. Astronauts apply their unique perspective from space to our Earth to educate our society about the importance of exploration, international cooperation, the indispensable role of space travel in our daily lives and to promote better management of our home planet. Together with their Dutch partners, the astronauts want to inspire young people in particular to science, technology and innovation by challenging them to come up with crazy ideas for a sustainable future: Shaping our Future Together!
