Rent a bike to make the most of your visit to Amsterdam. On the bike you cycle easily from one hotspot to another. Bike along the beautiful canals, the artsy Jordaan neighbourhood, the famous Red Light District or through the breath taking Vondelpark.

How to rent a bike at MacBike with your City Card

You are not required to book a timeslot in advance in order to rent a bike at this venue with your City Card. You can visit one of the MacBike stores and rent a bike there. Follow this link to see which MacBike stores are open. Please do make sure your City Card is valid at the time of your visit.

MacBike will ask you to leave a deposit for the bikes. There are two options:

1) a copy of a credit card (MacBike will make this copy in their shop)

2) or 1 ID per 5 bikes and €50 per bike

Due to the popularity and the high number of bike rentals at the MacBike location at Central Station, it might be the case that all bicycles are rented out for the day. In that case, the staff of the MacBike location at Central Station will kindly ask you to visit the MacBike Oosterdok location which is only a 10-minute walk away.
