European School Bergen

The ESB is a well-established European school offering the European Baccalaureate programme. Originally developed for the families of official EU employees, the curriculum is considered as an equivalent to the national curriculums in all member states. Lessons are delivered in multiple languages and pupils often go on to learn three and sometimes four languages before graduation. The school also focuses on fostering tolerance and cooperation, while emphasising the children’s individual national identities.
